Cabin Creek Wind will provide a reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy source to the regional electric grid and will bring significant long-term investment to the Craig County community. This project will preserve and protect the county’s rural, agricultural landscape for current and future generations.

Cabin Creek Wind will contribute millions of dollars to Craig County over the life of the project, benefiting our landowner partners, the Welch and Bluejacket School Districts, Craig County emergency services, local infrastructure, and the Northeast Technology Center. The project will employ hundreds of people during construction, and these workers will support local restaurants, hotels, gas stations, and other businesses. Once constructed, the project will support 10 to 15 full-time, local employees.

Our Cabin Creek Wind team supports several local organizations including the Craig County Fair & Rodeo, the Bluejacket FFA, Welch Harvest Day, Centralia Volunteer Fire Department and the Welch Public School Enrichment Foundation. We continue to seek opportunities to support the community and to be an active local participant. Please reach out to our team about other community events or organizations.
