Glacier Gap Wind

Glacier Gap Wind will provide a reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy source to the regional electric grid and will bring significant long-term investment to the Grant, and Roberts County communities. This project will preserve and protect the county’s rural, agricultural landscape for current and future generations.

Supporting the Local Community

Glacier Gap Wind will contribute millions of dollars to Grant and Roberts County over the life of the project, benefiting our landowner partners, the Summit and Waubay School Districts, Grant and Roberts County emergency services, and local infrastructure. The project will employ hundreds of people during construction, and these workers will support local restaurants, hotels, gas stations, and other businesses. Once constructed, the project will support 10 to 15 full-time, local employees.
