Collin Thomas, Director of Commercial Execution, serves as a member of the Associate Board of Green Empowerment outside of his work at Triple Oak. He recently wrote the following article about micro-hydro systems as a source of renewable energy and a path to electrification in “last-mile” communities, or rural communities without access to electricity. These micro-hydro systems support local micro-grids, which in turn fuel health care access, economic opportunity, and community empowerment.
