Triple Oak Power executives looked on like the proud developer parents they are in Wharton County, TX (near Houston) as they went for an up close examination of the ongoing construction efforts at Prairie Switch Wind.
TOP CEO Jesse Gronner noted the high quality of work so far, and shared, “Prairie Switch, once operational by end of this year, is going to be a valuable producer for Wharton County and its agricultural community for decades to come.”
In addition to the millions of dollars in land owner lease payments and taxes, Prairie Switch will produce more than 163 MWs, enough clean energy to power more than 50,000 homes. James Tervo, VP of Engineering and Operations and Ryan Leonard, COO joined Jesse for a look at the site that will eventually host 48 turbines.
